The Student Health Center of the University of Ljubljana is a public healthcare institution established in 1992 by the Republic of Slovenia to provide young people and students with specialized and organized healthcare services.
Following Slovenia’s accession to the European Union and the implementation of the Bologna reform of higher education, the Student Health Center in Ljubljana also provides healthcare services to international undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as faculty members at higher education institutions. We strive to meet the diverse needs of multicultural users and tailor our services to patients’ individual needs.
Our mission is to provide the best possible healthcare to our patients in cases of illness and injury, promote a healthy lifestyle, and prevent all forms of addictive diseases.
We carry out preventive activities, especially in the areas of awareness-raising, educational workshops, and other methods of delivering health education content, bringing healthcare services closer to the target population in a modern way.
The operation of the Student Health Center in Ljubljana represents a universal value and a choice. Awareness of health risks and good examples of how to avoid premature illness significantly and positively shape a young person’s character. This constitutes the best investment for healthy adulthood and mature years, contributing to maintaining an active workforce and extending working life.
